by Torah from Dixie editorial staff

From the editors: As the Day of Judgment descends upon Jewish communities across the globe, we present this special Rosh Hashanah issue of Torah from Dixie. Rosh Hashanah is a time when we resolve to new things, to change our behavior for the better - a sort of new year's resolution for the soul. As the heavenly court opens its books and begins scrutinizing our actions of the past year, we pray to Hashem for a good decree for us and the entire Jewish people. At the same time, we direct our focus inwardly, rendering our own judgment on ourselves. Are we living up to our vast G-d given potential? Where are we headed in life? How can we improve? It is our sincere hope that the words of this issue, in some small way, help those in need of a spiritual boost on this most awesome day. May you and your families be inscribed in the Book of Life for a sweet, healthy, happy, and successful new year.

You are invited to read more Rosh Hashanah articles.
